Ep 17. Jake vs. Jake

The episode opens up with Jake receiving a job offer from his friend and former boss, Richard Hart, to work at his boat yard. Meanwhile, Jo is struggling to pay her rent and turns to Alison for a loan. Alison agrees to lend Jo the money but is concerned about Jo's refusal to seek help from others.

Jake starts his job at Richard's boat yard but quickly realizes that Richard has ulterior motives. In the end, Jake manages to outsmart both Richard and Reed, while also repairing Jo's motorcycle. Jo is grateful for Jake's help and the two share a tender moment. Alison, meanwhile, realizes the importance of not isolating herself and seeks support from her friends.
