Ep 15. Lost in Translation

In "Melissa & Joey" season 1 episode 15, titled "Lost in Translation," Melissa's sister, Meredith, visits and brings along her new boyfriend, who happens to be Japanese. Meredith is unable to communicate effectively with her boyfriend due to the language barrier, so Melissa offers to act as a translator. However, things quickly become complicated when Melissa's translations are not entirely accurate, causing misunderstandings between the couple.

Meanwhile, Joey tries to impress a woman he meets at the local coffee shop, but struggles to find common ground with her until he learns that they both share a love for classic movies.

As they navigate their respective language and romantic challenges, Melissa and Joey learn that sometimes the best way to communicate is simply to be honest and open with each other.
