Ep 6. Boys Will Be Boys

The popular wildlife documentary series, Meerkat Manor, takes viewers on another journey into the lives of the Whiskers meerkat family in the Kalahari desert. Meanwhile, Bagle and Mitch are seen patrolling the border of the Whiskers' territory. Meerkats are highly territorial creatures, and their borders are constantly under threat from rival groups. The two males take their job seriously, standing guard and scanning the horizon for any sign of danger. Their diligence is vital, as the group relies on them to alert them to any potential threats.

Later in the episode, a rival group of meerkats is seen approaching the Whiskers' territory. This sets off a chorus of alarm calls as the group prepares to defend their territory. Zaphod and several other males rush to the border to meet the intruders, and a fierce battle ensues. The Whiskers ultimately emerge victorious, thanks in no small part to the bravery and vigilance of Bagle and Mitch.

Throughout the episode, viewers get an inside look into the hierarchy of meerkat society. Zaphod's authority as the alpha male is absolute, and he is respected and feared by the other males in the group. The young males, in their turn, are learning what it takes to be responsible members of the group and rising up the ranks towards adulthood.
