The time has come! Sir Dan has arrived at Zarok's Lair, we he intends to defeat the evil sorcerer once and for all! Zarok no doubt has a plan in place to dispatch our hero. What sort of wizardry does Zarok have in store for Sir Dan? Will Sir Dan be able to win this battle for Gallowmere, and for his own redemption?

With the defeat of the Ghost Ship Captain, it is now time for Sir Dan to begin his assault on Zarok! He will have to make his way through the Entrance Hall, followed by the Time Zone, a place where Zarok's knowledge and understanding of science is on full display.

With the Crystal Caves and Gallows Gauntlet behind him, Sir Dan travels to the Haunted Ruins, which is the location of King Peregrin's castle. Sir Dan will then have to board the Ghost Ship, which is swimming with scurvy pirate ghosts! Sir Dan will be walking the plank if he's not careful!

After traveling above and beneath the Lake of Mellowmede, Sir Dan now heads for the Crystal Caves, full of shiny jewels, and one grumpy dragon! This dragon may prove useful though, as he may be able to help Sir Dan with his next destination, the Gallows Gauntlet.

9. Pools of the Ancient Dead

After defeating the Winged Demons in what was Sir Dan's toughest challenge yet, he now heads for the Pools of the Ancient Dead, an ancient war zone where many battles took place between the forces of good and evil. Sir Dan meets the Boatman, who requires eight lost souls in order to take Sir Dan on his ferry to the Lake, where he will face all sorts of watery terrors.

8. The Enchanted Earth

After defeating the Ant Queen and restoring his natural size, Sir Dan now looks to make his way through the Enchanted Earth. He'll need the Shadow Talisman to do so, but using the talisman will unleash an army of shadow demons that may be prove to be too formidable for our hero.

7. Inside the Asylum

After defeating the Pumpkin Serpent and restoring order to the Pumpkin Gorge, Sir Dan now heads back to the Asylum, where he must go in and save the mayor, but is quickly by dozens of zombies! He'll also have the task of retrieving amber for a witch in the Ant Caves, where Sir Dan is brought down to earth, in a manner of speaking...

6. The Pumpkin Serpent

After completing Jack of the Greens riddles, Sir Dan has the option to go into the Asylum, but decides to come back to that, and instead heads for Pumpkin Gorge. This area will prove to be one of his toughest challenges yet, as these pumpkins look to be the ones doing the carving!

5. The Asylum Grounds

With the Sleeping Village behind him, Sir Dan no longer has to worry about encountering enemies he can't defeat. The Asylum Grounds, however, present a new challenge. Jack of the Green is a riddler, and Sir Dan must complete four of his riddles, or he'll be stuck there forever!

With Sir Dan barely making it out of Scarecrow Fields, he now finds himself in the Sleeping Village, where not everything is as it appears. The town citizens have been zombified by Zarok, and so Sir Dan must not hurt them. It will prove to be a tough task, as he'll need to be quick on his feet to avoid them!

After progressing through the Hilltop Mausoleum and defeating the Stained Glass Demon, Sir Dan must return to the Graveyard to find another path that will lead him outside of the Necropolis. His path will lead him through Scarecrow Fields, where scarecrows are suddenly coming to life, and they're not friendly!

After being resurrected and making his way out of the Graveyard, Sir Dan finds Zarok at the top of the Cemetery Hill, where Zarok informs him that he is too late. Sir Dan must make his way up the hill while avoiding giant boulders, and make his way through the Hill Mausoleum, filled with ghosts and thieving imps, to try and catch up to Zarok.

100 years after the battle for Gallowmere took place, the evil Zarok has returned to take the kingdom over, and starts by resurrecting his undead army. In the process of doing so, his revives Sir Daniel Fortesque, the Hero of Gallowmere...or so we thought. Fate has given Sir Dan a chance at redemption with the opportunity to save Gallowmere and defeat Zarok once and for all!
