Along the way, they encounter a strange assortment of characters, including a flamboyant Frenchman named Pegasus (played by Jason Schwartzman), a ruthless Russian villain named Krovopuskov (played by Vladimir Harkonnen), and a beautiful former flame of Owen's named Ruby (played by Sarayu Blue).

As Lola and Owen investigate the virus, they realize that they are dealing with something far more complex and nefarious than they ever imagined. They must navigate a maze of conspiracies, double-crosses, and dangerous alliances in order to uncover the truth behind this deadly disease.

One of the main themes of Medical Police is the tension between the serious medical crisis at the heart of the story and the bumbling antics of the two doctors tasked with stopping it.
