Meanwhile, Heather is still bent on finding out who sent her the gift. She starts to suspect that it is someone from the school, and begins to investigate. Her investigation leads her to the school art teacher, who has a tendency to give gifts to people in the community.
As the day comes to an end, Jane reflects on her day with Amber and feels grateful for the time that they spent together. Heather finally learns the identity of the person who gave her the gift, and it turns out to be someone who she had wronged in the past. She takes this opportunity to make things right and ends up making a new friend in the process.
