Ep 7. Steel vs. Steel

After the events of the previous episode, Max Steel and his team are on high alert as they try to track down the rogue Ultralink, Steel. The episode begins with Max and Steel engaging in a high-speed chase through the city, with Max's Turbo Cycle keeping up with Steel's advanced flight capabilities. Steel finally lands in a deserted industrial area, where he promptly begins to wreak havoc.

Max confronts Steel, who claims that he has no memory of his previous actions and is convinced that he is the original Steel. Max is skeptical but decides to give him the benefit of the doubt and offers to help him figure out what's going on. They both return to N-Tek, where Dr. Martinez runs a series of tests on Steel to see if he is telling the truth. The tests confirm that Steel's molecular structure matches that of the original Steel, but he is still wary of the results.

As the team tries to figure out what to do next, they are suddenly attacked by a group of robotic drones controlled by Makino. Max and Steel go into battle together to try and fend them off, but in the heat of the moment, Steel becomes more aggressive, and Max begins to suspect that he may not be telling the whole truth after all. The two friends begin to fight, and the rest of the team is forced to intervene to break them up.

The next day, Max wakes up to find that Steel has disappeared once again. He tracks him down to an abandoned warehouse, where Steel is hiding out. Max tries to get through to him, but Steel is still convinced that he is the original and refuses to believe Max's theories about his true identity. As they argue, they are suddenly ambushed by a group of Makino's soldiers, and Max and Steel are forced to fight side by side.

During the battle, Steel suddenly has a memory flashback and realizes that he is not the original Steel, but rather a cloned version created by Makino. He confesses the truth to Max, and together they come up with a plan to infiltrate Makino's lair and stop him once and for all. The episode ends with Max, Steel, and the rest of the team gearing up for the final showdown with Makino, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
