Ep 4. Cleaning House

Max Steel is an animated action series about a teenage boy named Max McGrath who discovers that he has the power to generate energy and control technology. He teams up with a techno-organic alien named Steel to become the superhero Max Steel and fight against evil forces that threaten the world.

In episode 4 of season 1 titled "Cleaning House," Max and Steel are trying to clean up the house when they stumble upon a mysterious box in the basement. Inside the box, they find an old video camera with some tapes that belonged to Max's father, Jim McGrath, who was a renowned scientist and a member of an organization known as N-Tek.

Max decides to watch the tapes to learn more about his father, but Steel warns him that it might not be a good idea since Jim's work was classified. However, Max is determined to find out the truth and starts watching the tapes, which reveal some shocking secrets about Jim's past.

Meanwhile, a group of thieves break into N-Tek headquarters and steal some important data that can be used to create a powerful weapon. The thieves are working for an evil organization called Dredd, which wants to use the weapon to take over the world.

Max and Steel are alerted to the break-in and head to N-Tek to investigate. They discover that the thieves have already left and decide to follow them. With the help of Steel's ability to control technology, they track down the thieves to an abandoned warehouse.

At the warehouse, Max and Steel face off against the thieves, who are armed with high-tech weapons. Max uses his energy-generating powers to fight back, while Steel hacks into the thieves' weapons to disable them.

In the midst of the battle, Max gets injured and loses his energy. With no way to fight back, he is forced to retreat. However, he doesn't give up and comes up with a plan to take down the thieves once and for all.

Max and Steel return to N-Tek and using the information they gathered, they create a device that can disrupt the thieves' weapons. They then head back to the warehouse and engage in a final battle with the thieves.

Using the device, Max and Steel are able to disable the thieves' weapons and defeat them. However, Dredd appears and reveals that he was behind the break-in all along. He takes the stolen data and escapes.

Max and Steel are left to ponder the implications of the stolen data and what Dredd plans to do with it. They realize that they must stay vigilant and be ready to face any threats that come their way.

"Cleaning House" is an action-packed episode that delves deeper into Max's past while also introducing a new villain in the form of Dredd. It highlights the importance of trust, both between Max and Steel and between N-Tek and its agents. The episode sets the stage for future conflicts and raises the stakes for Max and Steel as they continue to protect the world from evil forces.
