Ep 1. Ruby's Loose Tooth/Ruby Scores!/Ruby's Sandcastle

Max and Ruby season 3 episode 1 begins with Ruby, the bossy older sister, discovering that she has a loose tooth. She becomes very excited about the prospect of the tooth falling out, and insists that everyone in the family takes a look at it. Max, her younger brother, becomes fascinated by the concept of teeth and starts to count them in everyone's mouth. Despite Ruby's excitement, she is also very nervous about losing her tooth. She doesn't want it to hurt, and she doesn't want to look strange with a missing tooth. Max is his usual mischievous self, turning the situation into a game and making light of the situation. Even their grandma joins in on the fun, and before they know it, Ruby's tooth falls out!

The second part of the episode is titled "Ruby Scores!" and centers around Ruby's love of soccer. She and her friends are playing a game of soccer and Ruby is determined to score. She tries to build it on her own, but soon realizes that building a sandcastle is not as easy as she thought. Max tries to help, but his lack of focus and attention span make things difficult. When Ruby's sandcastle is accidentally destroyed, she becomes extremely upset. But with help from their grandma, Max and Ruby work together to build an even better sandcastle.

Through all three segments, Max and Ruby learn important lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and the value of family and friends.
