Ep 95. GIVE HIM A PATERNITY TEST! I KNOW HE'S MY BABY'S DADDY! PART 1

  • March 3, 2003

In this episode of Maury, a young woman named Kiana comes to the show claiming that her ex-boyfriend, Devon, is the father of her 2-year-old son. According to Kiana, she and Devon were together for a few months before she found out she was pregnant. However, when she told Devon the news, he denied that he was the father and accused her of cheating on him. Kiana insists that she never cheated and that Devon is without a doubt the father of her child.

In an attempt to prove her case, Kiana has brought Devon to the show to take a paternity test. Devon is confident that he is not the father and is willing to take the test to prove it. As Maury reads the results of the test, the tension in the air is palpable. Kiana is nervous, clutching her son close to her chest, while Devon looks stoic, refusing to show any emotion.

Finally, the results are in, and Maury announces that there is a high probability that Devon is indeed the father of Kiana's son. Kiana is ecstatic, jumping up and down with joy and hugging her son tightly. Devon, on the other hand, is visibly shocked and angry. He refuses to believe the results and accuses Kiana of tampering with the test.

Maury tries to calm Devon down and encourages him to take responsibility for his child. However, Devon is adamant that he is not the father and storms off the stage, leaving Kiana and Maury behind. Kiana is heartbroken, realizing that Devon may never accept his role as a father. Maury promises to help Kiana navigate this difficult situation and offers her resources to help her raise her son.

As the episode ends, viewers are left wondering whether Devon will ever come around and acknowledge his paternity. Meanwhile, Kiana is left to raise her son on her own, hoping that one day Devon will be a part of their lives. The show offers a poignant look at the challenges faced by single mothers and the importance of fathers taking responsibility for their children.
