Ep 5. Enter The Worm

Matador is a high octane action series in which Tony Bravo, a DEA agent, goes undercover to complete his mission about infiltrating a famous club of drug smugglers. In episode 5 named "Enter The Worm," Tony finds himself at his wits' end when his mark, Franco Galan, tightens security measures on his operation to evade the DEA's watchful eye.

Tony's cover and the DEA mission are put in serious jeopardy when he is assigned to clean up the aftermath of a botched assassination attempt on Galan. Tony becomes aware that the group of Mexican rebels responsible for the attempt has infiltrated the club's staff and is plotting another attack.

As he tries to balance his dual roles as undercover agent and Galan's trusted aide, Tony becomes increasingly paranoid that he will lose his cover and be exposed to Galan's watchful eye. He is forced to turn to his connections on the street to gather information and stay ahead of the game.

Her boss, the Director, has been putting pressure on her to bring Galan to justice, and she decides to take matters into her own hands by blackmailing an associate of Galan's to turn on him.

As the clock ticks down to the rebels' next attempt on Galan's life, Tony becomes increasingly desperate, wondering if he will be able to complete his mission before the DEA blows his cover. He is forced to make some difficult choices, including whether to risk exposure by warning Galan about the impending attack or standing back and letting the rebels carry out their mission.

Throughout the episode, the tension builds to a thrilling climax as Tony races to thwart the rebels' plot and keep his cover intact.
