Ep 3. America's Grocery Bag

In MasterChef season 8 episode 3, titled "America's Grocery Bag," the remaining contestants are tasked with creating a dish using only the ingredients found in a mystery grocery bag. The pressure test requires the contestants to bake a flawless cherry pie. The contestants have 90 minutes to prepare the pie from scratch, including making the crust and filling. The judges are looking for detail, precision, and authenticity.

The contestants put their baking skills to the test, carefully kneading crusts and perfectly arranging cherries. Some are up to the challenge, while others struggle to create a cohesive and presentable pie. The judges taste each of the finished products, and the best ones earn high praise.

Ultimately, for one unlucky contestant, their cherry pie is not up to the standards of the judges, and they are sent home. For the others, it's time to see who will come out on top in the next episode of MasterChef.
