Ep 6. Vive La Pressure Test

After five exciting episodes of Masterchef Canada, it's time for the sixth episode of season 5, titled "Vive la Pressure Test." The episode starts with the ten remaining home cooks facing a pressure test that will test their creativity and ability to work under high-pressure situations.

Coq au vin is a traditional French dish that involves braising chicken in red wine and traditionally served with mushrooms, onions, and bacon. The home cooks are provided with fresh chicken, vegetables, and bacon, but they have to choose their own wine. However, the catch is that the wine must cost no more than $15.

The contestants are allowed to use any cooking technique they prefer, but they must complete the dish within the time limit. The judges observe the contestants closely, providing tips, and evaluating their technique as they cook.

Once the time is up, the contestants present their dishes to the judges, who evaluate them based on taste, presentation, and technique. As expected, some dishes impress the judges, while some fail to deliver on taste.
