Masha's Tales season 1 episode 9 features two classic fairy tales, "Three Little Pigs" and "Caliph Stork". In the first tale, Masha narrates the story of three little pigs who set out to build their own houses. The first pig builds his house with straw, the second with sticks and the third with bricks. The big bad wolf comes and blows down the first two pigs' houses but is unable to blow down the third pig's brick house. The three pigs then use their wits to defeat the wolf and teach him a lesson.
In the second story, "Caliph Stork", Masha narrates the tale of a wealthy caliph who is turned into a stork by an evil magician. The caliph stork is only able to speak the words "Kawk! Kawk!" and is forced to fly away from his palace. He befriends a poor farmer and his daughter who help him to break the spell and turn him back into a human. The caliph then rewards the farmer for his kindness by giving him riches beyond his wildest dreams.
Throughout both tales, Masha incorporates her own humorous observations and jokes into the storytelling. The animation is bright and colorful, bringing the classic fairy tales to life in a fun and engaging way. Children will be captivated by the stories and adults will enjoy the nostalgia of revisiting these timeless tales. Overall, Masha's Tales season 1 episode 9 is a delightful and entertaining addition to the series.
