In the Marvel's Avengers Assemble season 2 episode 20 "Terminal Velocity," the Avengers are summoned to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Triskelion headquarters for an important meeting with Director Fury. However, before they can even make it inside, they are attacked by a mysterious figure in a jetpack, who causes chaos and destruction in his wake.
As the Avengers try to track down the culprit, they discover that he is the villain known as Whirlwind, an old enemy of Hank Pym aka Ant-Man. Whirlwind is seeking revenge against Pym for his past failures and uses his powerful abilities to manipulate the air and create devastating windstorms.
The Avengers are caught off guard by Whirlwind's speed and agility, and struggle to keep up with him as he moves through the city. They also have to deal with the collateral damage he is causing, such as destroying buildings and endangering innocent civilians.
As they pursue Whirlwind, the Avengers learn that he has a more sinister plan in mind, one that could put the entire city in danger. Tensions run high as they race against the clock to stop him before it's too late.
Meanwhile, Ant-Man is forced to confront his past mistakes and his relationship with Whirlwind, as he seeks to save the city and protect his teammates. The episode delves into Ant-Man's backstory and his struggles with guilt and redemption, adding depth and emotional resonance to the action-packed plot.
As always, the Avengers must work together and use their unique skills and strengths to overcome the challenge they face. Terminal Velocity offers plenty of thrilling action sequences, as well as character development and a compelling storyline that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
