After a failed experiment, Bruce Banner transforms into a new version of the Hulk, a confident and cunning gray-skinned brute who calls himself Mr. Fixit. Mr. Fixit is far different than the original Hulk that fans are used to, he's smart, has a sense of humor, and loves the nightlife of Las Vegas. As soon as Mr. Fixit takes over, he becomes the boss of the Pantheon, a group of powerful heroes, and works as an enforcer for the Mafia in Vegas.

The episode opens with Mr. Fixit in a bar owned by a man named Joe. The bar is raided by the police, but Mr. Fixit easily handles the situation and makes a deal with the police chief to keep the bar open. Next, we see Mr. Fixit taking a meeting with the Pantheon, who are hesitant to accept him as their leader. Mr. Fixit is not impressed with their lack of trust and informs them that he is taking over anyway, and they can follow or leave. Rick Jones, a former ally of Bruce Banner in previous episodes, is also hesitant to follow Mr. Fixit until he sees how effective he is in dealing with a group of thugs that try to steal from him.

Later, we are introduced to the character Marlo, who is visiting Vegas for a friend's wedding. Marlo sees Mr. Fixit in action and is intrigued by him. She decides to follow him to a party attended by the Pantheon and several high profile guests. During the party, we see that Mr. Fixit has a romantic interest in Marlo, and their chemistry is undeniable.
