However, things don’t go as planned when they end up getting stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
The episode kicks off with the trio packing up their bags and getting ready to hit the road. Martin is left behind as he has to work at the station. He initially objects to Gina going without him but relents when she convinces him that it’s a work trip and not a vacation.
The women set off on their journey, singing and dancing in the car. However, things eventually take a turn for the worse when their car breaks down in a deserted area, and they are forced to walk to the nearest town to seek help.
As they make their way, they come across a creepy abandoned house. Sheneneh, being Sheneneh, decides to go in, and the other two reluctantly follow. Inside, they find a group of men who have taken up residence in the house. The women try to leave, but the men block their way and refuse to let them go.
Luckily, a friendly truck driver comes along and helps the girls to escape. They manage to make it to a motel in a nearby town where they spend the night. The next day, they finally make it to the conference, but they are late and the keynote speaker has already finished.
As Gina struggles to salvage what’s left of the conference and make meaningful business connections, Pam and Sheneneh go off to explore the city. They end up getting into trouble again when they get into a fight with some local girls. Meanwhile, Martin back in Detroit has his own set of problems to deal with when he accidentally breaks a newscaster’s nose during a live broadcast.
