Martin season 5 episode 2 - "Back in Trouble Again" continues the story of the popular sitcom character Martin Payne. In this episode, Martin finds himself in a precarious position once again. He has to deal with the repercussions of his previous actions and find ways to make things right with those around him.

The episode opens with Martin in his usual foul mood, complaining about everything under the sun. His girlfriend, Gina, is not impressed and tries to snap him out of it. Meanwhile, their friends, Tommy and Pam, arrive at their apartment to join them for a night out. They inform Martin that a mutual acquaintance, Biggie Smalls, is in town and is throwing a party at his mansion. Martin jumps at the opportunity and decides to attend the party, thinking that it will be a perfect way to forget his troubles.

As they arrive at the party, Martin is greeted by Biggie and his entourage of beautiful women. Martin is in his element and enjoys the attention he is getting. They start to drink and party the night away, but things take a turn for the worse when they are informed that they have been robbed. Martin, Tommy, and Pam are shocked and Martin becomes angry and determined to catch the thief.

The next day, Martin receives a call from the police, who inform him that they have arrested someone in connection with the robbery. Martin, Tommy, and Pam go to the police station to identify the suspect. When they arrive, they are shocked to see that the person arrested is none other than Cole, their friend and Martin's former co-worker. Martin is outraged and confronts Cole, accusing him of stealing from Biggie's party. Cole denies the accusation, saying that he is innocent. Martin refuses to believe him and insists that he is lying.

As the episode progresses, Martin and his friends begin to investigate the robbery themselves. They interview witnesses, gather evidence, and try to put the pieces together. However, each lead they follow leaves them with more questions than answers. Martin becomes increasingly frustrated and paranoid, and his relationship with Gina starts to suffer. Meanwhile, Cole is constantly harassed by the police, who are trying to force him to confess to the crime.

The tension builds as the characters try to unravel the mystery and clear Cole's name. Martin, who is still convinced that Cole is guilty, begins to suspect everyone around him, even his closest friends. Finally, towards the end of the episode, the truth is revealed, and Martin is forced to confront the consequences of his actions. The episode ends on a somber note, with Martin reflecting on his behavior and the damage it has caused.

Overall, Martin season 5 episode 2 - "Back in Trouble Again" is a gripping and humorous installment in the series. It showcases the strengths of the character-driven storytelling and the ensemble cast. The episode deals with themes of trust, loyalty, and redemption, and does so with wit and clever writing. Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this episode, which is a strong addition to the Martin canon.
