Martin season 3 episode 12, "Lockin' Boots," follows the hilarious misadventures of Martin Payne and his friends. In this episode, Martin agrees to take care of his girlfriend Gina's fish while she goes out of town for the weekend. Martin, who is not a fan of fish, reluctantly agrees to be responsible for the little creatures.
The episode takes place mostly in Martin's apartment, where he is trying his best to take care of the fish. However, things take an unexpected turn when Martin's friend Tommy drops by to hang out. Tommy, who brings over a pair of new boots, accidentally drops them in the fish tank, causing chaos among the fish.
As Martin and Tommy try to save the fish, they accidentally lock themselves in the apartment without a key. This sets off a series of hilarious events, including Martin and Tommy trying to escape from the apartment through a window and Martin's neighbor, Mrs. Hicks, calling the police on them.
Meanwhile, Gina is having a great time on her weekend trip, completely unaware of what is happening back at home. She calls Martin, but he is unable to answer the phone, leading her to worry about what might be happening.
As the episode progresses, Martin and Tommy try everything they can think of to get out of the apartment. In one scene, they attempt to rappel down the side of the building using an extension cord and a curtain rod. In another scene, they try to break down the door with a lawnmower.
Throughout all of this chaos, Martin and Tommy learn to work together and rely on each other in order to survive their predicament. Martin also learns a valuable lesson about responsibility and taking care of the things that are important to the people he cares about.
"Lockin' Boots" is a classic episode of Martin, full of the show's trademark humor and wit. It is a must-watch for fans of the show and anyone who enjoys a good laugh.
