Martha Speaks is a kid’s animated television series that revolves around a lovable dog named Martha who is transformed into a language expert after eating a bowl of alphabet soup. The show is based on a series of children’s books written by Susan Meddaugh, who also serves as a consultant on the show.

Season 3 episode 11 of Martha Speaks is titled “Myth Me? / TD's Myth Take” and is the 13th episode of the third season. The episode is split into two separate stories.

In the first story titled “Myth Me?” Martha’s owner, Helen, has been reading Greek mythology and decides to share some of the stories with Martha and her friends TD and Truman. However, Martha becomes confused and thinks that the myths are actually real, causing her to take on some of the mythical creature’s behaviors. For example, after hearing about Pegasus, Martha starts to believe that she has wings and can fly. TD, Truman, and Helen must work together to set the record straight and teach Martha that mythology is just a story and not real.

The second story titled “TD’s Myth Take” follows TD as he decides to make his own movie inspired by Greek mythology. TD enlists the help of his friends to play various characters in the movie, but things don’t go as planned when the movie starts to take on a life of its own. TD’s friends become frustrated with the unrealistic script and demand changes, leading TD to consider changing his vision for the movie. Ultimately, TD and his friends learn that collaboration and compromise are key to creating a successful project.

As with all episodes of Martha Speaks, “Myth Me? / TD's Myth Take” teaches valuable lessons about communication, collaboration, and understanding. Through the show’s engaging stories and lovable characters, children are encouraged to love learning and language.
