Al Bundy, the patriarch of the Bundy family, is on a mission to make sure that he and his wife Peggy have the perfect Valentine's Day. However, things take a turn for the worse when he finds out that Peggy has forgotten all about the holiday. As Al tries to make it up to her, he finds himself fighting against both his own feelings of resentment and his wife's determination to hold on to her grudge.
Meanwhile, Kelly, the Bundy's daughter, is struggling with her own Valentine's Day problems. After getting dumped by her latest boyfriend, Kelly is determined to make sure that everyone else has a miserable holiday like she does. With the help of her best friend, Kelly sets out to create a Valentine's Day massacre that will leave everyone feeling heartbroken and alone.
Despite the chaos that surrounds them, the Bundy's youngest son, Bud, manages to find a little bit of love on this holiday. When his girlfriend Tiffany gives him an unexpected Valentine, Bud is shocked to realize that he may actually have feelings for her. As he tries to figure out what he really wants, Bud is forced to confront his own fears and insecurities.
As the night wears on, the Bundy family's Valentine's Day celebrations take a turn for the unexpected. With emotions running high and tensions escalating, it becomes clear that this holiday is anything but the romantic and love-filled night that everyone had hoped for. Despite the disappointment and heartbreak that they all face, Al and Peggy are forced to come together and find a way to salvage their relationship. In the end, it is a night that nobody will forget, but not for the reasons that they had hoped.
