Al Bundy takes his friends to a poker game where he has won over $5000 from his opponents. However, a guy named Steve Rhoades wants to join the game, but Al refuses to let him in. Steve isn't one to give up easily, so he disguises himself as a woman and joins the game under the name Maureen. Al doesn't recognize him, but his friends do. The game heats up, and with Steve's help, Al increases his winnings to over $7000.
Meanwhile, Peggy is excited about a beauty pageant that she has entered, but Al isn't enthusiastic. Eventually, Peggy convinces Al to help her rehearse for the talent portion of the pageant. Peggy's act is to do a dance routine with a live boa constrictor, but it is a disaster and Al tells her that she can't go through with it.
In the end, Al returns home with his winnings, but he realizes that he has left his wallet at the poker game. When he goes back to retrieve it, he discovers that the game has been busted by the police and everyone has been arrested. Al manages to retrieve his wallet, but leaves with a bad taste in his mouth about the whole experience. Peggy tries to comfort him, but Al reminds her that she owes him a favor now.
The episode wraps up with a humorous scene of Peggy practicing her boa dance routine on Al, who is less than thrilled with the whole ordeal.
