Ep 8. New Wife, New Life

In the eighth episode of the tenth season of Married at First Sight, the four couples continue to navigate their newlywed lives together. With the experiment almost half-way over, tensions begin to rise as the honeymoon phase comes to an end and real-life issues start to surface.

One of the couples, Mindy and Zach, are still struggling to connect. After Zach revealed that he wasn't initially attracted to Mindy, she's been questioning his commitment to the marriage. In this episode, they try to work on building a physical connection by taking a salsa dance lesson together. However, Mindy can't help but feel like Zach is holding back and not fully invested in their marriage.

Meanwhile, Austin and Jessica are still going strong. They continue to bond over their shared interests and values, and Austin even surprises Jessica with a romantic gesture. However, their happy bubble is burst when they receive a surprise visit from Austin's ex-girlfriend. Jessica is understandably upset, but the couple must work through their feelings and trust each other.

Katie and Derek also have a rough patch in this episode. After a disagreement about finances, Katie begins to question whether or not she's truly ready for marriage. She confides in her friends about her doubts, which only adds to Derek's insecurity about their relationship. As they try to work through their differences, Katie reveals a shocking secret that could potentially put their marriage in jeopardy.

Finally, Taylor and Brandon are still adjusting to living together. Brandon's busy work schedule leaves Taylor feeling neglected, and she decides to take matters into her own hands by planning a surprise outing for them. However, the surprise doesn't go as planned and the couple gets into a heated argument that could have serious consequences for their relationship.

Throughout the episode, we see the couples learning more about themselves and each other, and facing the challenges that come with any marriage. As they continue to navigate these uncharted waters, it remains to be seen which couples will make it to the end and which ones will decide to part ways.
