In season 9 episode 10 of Man v. Food, host Casey Webb heads to Cincinnati, Ohio, also known as "Porkopolis" for its rich history in pork products. Webb is on a mission to tackle some of the city's most iconic and delicious dishes.
The episode kicks off with Webb stopping by Terry's Turf Club, a classic dive bar known for its iconic burgers. Webb orders the "Samer," a burger stacked high with sharp cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and Terry's secret sauce. But that's not all - the burger also comes with a side of loaded tater tots that are covered in bacon, cheese, and sour cream. Webb is in heaven as he devours the massive burger and indulgent tots.
Next up, Webb visits the Eagle OTR, a popular eatery that serves up some of the best fried chicken in the city. The restaurant's signature dish is the Fried Chicken and Waffle, which features crispy chicken and fluffy Belgian waffles topped with hot sauce and maple syrup. Webb can't resist diving into the dish, and he can barely contain his excitement as he savors every bite of the perfectly fried chicken and sweet waffles.
Webb then heads to Eli's BBQ, a local institution that has been serving up mouth-watering smoked meats for over 25 years. The restaurant's brisket and pulled pork are the stars of the show, served on a soft bun with tangy BBQ sauce and topped with a mound of coleslaw. Webb eagerly takes a bite of the sandwich, savoring the smoky flavor and tender meat. He declares Eli's BBQ to be one of the best BBQ joints he's ever visited.
But the food tour doesn't stop there - Webb visits Gomez Salsa for some delicious tacos and burritos. The restaurant's El Jefe burrito is a massive creation that's stuffed with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and a variety of meats. Webb bravely takes on the giant burrito, marveling at its size and flavor as he works his way through the hefty dish.
Finally, Webb visits the iconic Graeter's Ice Cream, which has been serving up delicious frozen treats since 1870. He samples the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip and the Buckeye Blitz, two of the shop's most popular flavors. Webb can't get enough of the rich, creamy ice cream, declaring it to be some of the best he's ever tasted.
