In season 7 episode 6 of Man v. Food, host Casey Webb takes on the food challenges of Houston, TX. He begins his journey at The Union Kitchen where he tries the Fried Chicken and Waffles, an iconic southern dish that blends savory and sweet flavors together. Next, he heads over to The Burger Joint to taste their famous Cheeseburger, stacked high with all the classic fixings.
Casey then visits The Original Marini's Empanada House where he is treated to a variety of empanadas filled with everything from beef to cheese and jalapenos. He then travels to The Breakfast Klub to sample their world-famous Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles, which has a cult following in Houston.
Next, Casey visits Stuffed Baked Potato Factory and takes on their infamous Beast Baked Potato Challenge, which requires him to eat a massive loaded baked potato in under 45 minutes. The potato is filled with brisket, pulled pork, sausage and bacon, and topped with cheese, sour cream, and chives.
Casey's next stop is at Good Dog Houston, where he tries the Gulf Coast Dog - an all-beef hot dog topped with shrimp, crab, jalapenos, and a spicy remoulade sauce. He then heads over to The Hay Merchant to try their ramen burger - a burger patty sandwiched between two ramen noodle buns.
Casey wraps up his food journey in Houston at Gatlin's BBQ where he tries their famous smoked brisket and beef ribs. He also takes on a BBQ challenge where he has to eat 1 pound of brisket, 1 pound of ribs, 1 pound of sausage, and 2 sides in under an hour.
