In "The Deadly Goddess Affair," the 17th episode of Season 2 of Man from UNCLE, secret agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are tasked with investigating a mysterious cult that worships a goddess and has been linked to several murders. The agents discover that the cult is run by a former U.N.C.L.E. agent, Marcus Shaw, who has become disillusioned with the organization and has turned to a life of crime.
Solo and Kuryakin must infiltrate the cult and get close to Shaw in order to gather evidence and stop the murders. To do this, they enlist the help of a new U.N.C.L.E. agent, Mandy Stevenson, who pretends to be a new recruit to the cult.
As they investigate, the agents uncover a plot to steal a valuable piece of technology from a nearby research facility. They realize that Shaw and his followers plan to use this technology to carry out a massive terrorist attack.
Solo, Kuryakin, and Stevenson must race against time to stop the cult before they can carry out their deadly plan. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles, including deadly traps and a group of mercenaries hired by Shaw to protect the cult.
As the agents get closer to the cult leaders, they realize that their lives are in danger and they must use all of their spy skills to stay alive. With danger at every turn, the agents must work together to stop the cult before it's too late.
As the episode reaches its climax, the agents face off against the cult leaders in a tense showdown. Using their quick thinking and spy skills, they are able to prevent the terrorist attack and bring the cult to justice.
