Man from Atlantis was a science fiction American television series which aired on NBC from 1977 to 1978. The show starred Patrick Duffy as Mark Harris, a man who had the ability to breathe underwater and withstand the immense pressure of the ocean. In Man from Atlantis season 1 episode 4, entitled "Giant," Mark is called upon to investigate a disturbance in the ocean that is causing waves of unusual size.
The episode begins with Mark swimming in the ocean, testing his abilities and exploring the underwater world. As it turns out, the giant octopus was being controlled by an underwater mining company that was using the creature to mine for precious minerals. Mark advises the company to stop their destructive practices and warns them of the consequences if they continue.
Overall, Man from Atlantis season 1 episode 4 is a thrilling and action-packed episode that showcases Mark's unique abilities and his dedication to protecting the ocean and its inhabitants. The episode is well-paced and includes plenty of exciting underwater sequences, as well as suspenseful moments as Mark confronts the giant octopus.
