Ep 3. Where There's A Will

In Mama's Family season 3 episode 3 titled "Where There's A Will", the matriarch of the family, Thelma Harper, commonly known as Mama, becomes concerned about her future after witnessing a friend's death. She starts obsessing over creating a will for herself and distributing her possessions among her family.

Mama's children - Vinton, Ellen, and the recently married Naomi, find her behavior strange and annoying. They try to convince her to calm down and focus on the present rather than worrying about the future. However, Mama's stubbornness doesn't let her change her mind and she insists on creating a will.

As she starts dividing her possessions among her children, Mama finds herself in a dilemma. She becomes uncertain about who should get what and worries about getting into trouble with the law. In the midst of all this, a lawyer shows up at their doorstep, claiming to be Mama's long-lost cousin. The lawyer, named Tommy, has an eye on Mama's possessions and tries to manipulate her into making him the primary beneficiary of her will.

With the help of her family, Mama realizes the lawyer's ulterior motives and sends him away. She then decides to donate her possessions to charity and help people in need. Mama's children witness her generosity and are touched by her selflessness. They all come together and celebrate Mama's decision to help others.

The episode brings out the importance of family and selflessness. Mama's concerns about her future are genuine, but in the end, she realizes that nothing is more important than giving back to society and helping those in need. The storyline, as always, is filled with humor, family drama, and Mama's signature no-nonsense attitude.
