The fourth episode of the first season of Make Me A Supermodel is titled "Naked Art." In this episode, our aspiring models are tasked with posing for a nude art class.
Before the art class, the models receive a lesson in art history from acclaimed artist and photographer Richard Phillips. Phillips also informs them of the significance of the nude form in art and challenges them to embrace and celebrate their own bodies.
The models then head to the art studio where they are met by a group of art students who will be sketching them. Though nervous at first, the models are soon able to relax and get into the flow of the class, even striking some dynamic and creative poses.
After the art class, the models head to a photo shoot where they are styled as various works of art. Each model is assigned a different art piece to embody, from a classic Greek statue to a modern installation piece. Some models struggle to connect with their assigned art pieces, while others are able to fully embrace their roles.
As always, these challenges are not just about artistic expression, but also about pushing the models outside of their comfort zones and testing their abilities to adapt and thrive in unexpected situations. As the competition continues to heat up, it remains to be seen which models will rise to the occasion and who will be eliminated next.
