Ep 20. Shockwave Part 1

Detective Lieutenant Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) is on the witness stand, being grilled by Assistant Chief Leo Mason (Leonard Roberts) about events that led up to the murder of Andrew Sykes. Sykes was a white supremacist who had been in custody for shooting an African American teenager. The murder occurred when Sykes was being transported from jail to court. As Provenza testifies, footage of the events is shown.

Provenza’s testimony details how the team of detectives, led by Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell), had been tasked with transporting Sykes to court, where he was to stand trial for his crime.
