The Major Crimes season 4 episode 4, titled "Turn Down," follows the team as they investigate the murder of a high-end party planner. The victim was found dead in her own home the morning after an extravagant party that she had thrown.
As the team begins to look into her personal and professional life, they discover that she had some troubled relationships with her clients, including a hotel owner who was unhappy with her event planning. They do not have any solid evidence or suspects until they uncover a possible connection to the victim's assistant, who had access to her client list and a motive to steal from her.
Meanwhile, Captain Raydor is dealing with personal issues when her daughter, Ricky, becomes involved with a shady character who she believes is involved in criminal activity. Raydor attempts to intervene and protect her daughter, but it causes tension between them.
The investigation heats up as new information comes to light, leading the team to question their initial theories and forcing them to look at their evidence in a new light. With the clock ticking, they race to find the killer before the case goes cold.
Throughout the episode, there are also personal moments between the team members as they continue to navigate their complicated personal lives while working together to solve the case. From Flynn's struggles with his health to Tao's interest in a new woman, there are plenty of character moments to balance out the intense investigation.
