Ep 12. Camp Over Troubled Waters

In Maine Cabin Masters season 8 episode 12, entitled "Camp Over Troubled Waters," the crew heads to the lakes region of western Maine to convert an old children's camp into a gorgeous lakeside vacation retreat. While some of the team works on the roofs, others start cleaning up the exteriors of the cabins. They use pressure washers to blast away years of dirt and grime, and trim away the vines and moss that have grown up around the cabins.

Inside the cabins, the team discovers a network of tunnels and crawlspaces that run under the cabins and connect everything together. They realize that they can use these tunnels to install a new heating system for the entire island. The team gets to work running pipes and installing radiators, which will keep the cabins warm and comfortable during the winter months.

As the team works on the cabins, they discover that some of the buildings are beyond repair. One of the larger cabins, which used to be a dining hall, has major structural problems. The team decides that it needs to be torn down and replaced with a new building.

The crew creates a plan for a new building that will serve as a multipurpose space for the island. They call it the "Great House." It will include a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and several bedrooms. They work quickly to design the building and get started on construction.

The team faces several challenges during the construction of the Great House, including working in the rain and dealing with a shortage of building materials. The crew uses their resourcefulness to solve each problem, and the Great House begins to take shape.

As the season comes to a close, the team reflects on the work they have done. They have transformed an old children's camp into a beautiful lakeside vacation retreat. The cabins are comfortable and cozy, the new Great House is a perfect gathering space for families and friends, and the island is ready for vacationers to enjoy.
