Ep 5. Thief

In the fifth episode of Maid season 1, titled "Thief," we see Alex trying to adjust to life in the shelter with Maddy while struggling to find a job. She’s stressed about providing for her daughter but is excited to work at a bakery before being rejected for having a criminal record. When she returns to the shelter, her roommate, Yolanda, has been robbed. Alex decides to take matters into her own hands and begins investigating, ultimately leading her to a surprising discovery about the thief's identity. Along the way, she forms a close bond with Yolanda and learns about her difficult past. Meanwhile, her relationship with Sean continues to grow, but she is hesitant to let him fully into her life. As she deals with these various challenges, Alex must continue to navigate the difficult and often overwhelming world of poverty and abuse.
