Duryodhan tries to burn the Pandavas alive but they escape with the help of a tunnel. Draupadi is unhappy with the Pandavas for marrying her without her consent. She makes her displeasure known to them and tells them that she will only consider Arjun her husband since he won her in the swayamvar. Duryodhan is upset with his defeat and seeks advice from his uncle Shakuni who advises him to play a game of dice with the Pandavas and defeat them.
Duryodhan invites the Pandavas to Hastinapur for a game of dice. Yudhishthir accepts the invitation and goes to Hastinapur with his brothers and wife. Shakuni uses his magical dice to cheat and Yudhishthir loses everything he has. As per the rules of the game, Yudhishthir loses his kingdom, wealth, and even his wife Draupadi.
Duryodhan orders his brother Dushasan to bring Draupadi to the court where they insult her and try to disrobe her. Draupadi prays to Lord Krishna and he saves her dignity by providing her with an endless sari. Yudhishthir is unable to save her since he has lost everything at the game of dice.
The Pandavas are exiled to the forest as per the terms of the game of dice. They spend twelve years in the forest and one year in disguise before they return and demand their kingdom back. Krishna agrees to help them and they go to war against the Kauravas. The war is brutal and many fighters on both sides die.
The war comes to a conclusion when Arjun kills Karna, Drona is killed by his own student, and Bheem kills Duryodhan. Yudhishthir becomes the king of Hastinapur and the Pandavas rule over the kingdom peacefully. Arjun's son Abhimanyu is killed in the war and his wife Subhadra is devastated.
Krishna consoles Subhadra and tells her that Abhimanyu was a brave warrior who died a hero's death. He tells her that his sacrifice will not be forgotten and that he will always be remembered as a great warrior. The show ends with the Pandavas ruling over the kingdom with justice and peace.
