Ep 10. Target MacGyver

MacGyver season 1 episode 10, titled "Target MacGyver," follows the titular character as he becomes the target of an assassin. Murdoc is portrayed as a cold and calculating killer who enjoys playing mind games with his targets. He is determined to kill MacGyver and will stop at nothing to get the job done.

At one point, MacGyver even uses a set of bagpipes to create a sonic weapon to disrupt and confuse Murdoc's senses.

There are several close calls and moments where it seems like Murdoc might finally succeed in his mission. However, MacGyver and Carol are always one step ahead, and they manage to outmaneuver Murdoc time and time again.

Towards the end of the episode, MacGyver and Murdoc have a showdown on a construction site. The two engage in a thrilling fight scene with each one trying to gain the upper hand. Without giving too much away, the confrontation comes to a climax that leaves both MacGyver and Murdoc changed in ways that they never could have imagined.

Overall, "Target MacGyver" is a tense and action-packed episode that showcases the skills and ingenuity of the titular character. The addition of Carol Varnay as a P.I. is a welcome addition, and her chemistry with MacGyver adds a new dynamic to the show. The episode also marks the first appearance of Murdoc, who would go on to become one of MacGyver's most iconic villains.
