MacGyver is a thrilling action-adventure series that follows the story of a young and intelligent secret agent who uses his great problem-solving skills and scientific knowledge to help his team of operatives complete their risky missions. This CBS series is a remake of the classic 1985 show of the same name, but with updated storylines, characters, and high-tech gadgets.

Lucas Till leads the cast as the title character, Angus "Mac" MacGyver, a resourceful operative who uses his vast knowledge of science, engineering, and tinkering to help his team of agents tackle the most dangerous of tasks. Tristin Mays plays Riley Davis, a computer hacker who has teamed up with MacGyver to help him with the more technical aspects of his missions, while Justin Hires plays Wilt Bozer, MacGyver's best friend and roommate who is always ready to help him in his endeavors.

The show is centered around the Phoenix Foundation, a secret government agency that specializes in covert operations, black ops, and high-risk missions. The team is led by Patricia Thornton (Sandrine Holt), a former CIA agent who is now the Director of Operations. Matty Weber (Meredith Eaton), an unassuming yet determined boss, later takes over Patricia Thornton's role as the team leader. Other members include Jack Dalton (George Eads)
