Ep 6. Monster

Lucifer season 2 episode 6, titled "Monster," follows the story of a neonatal nurse who claims that she's been raped by a masked man who breaks into her house every night.

As soon as she reports this to the authorities, Chloe and Lucifer start to investigate the case. The suspect in the case seems to be someone local, and this leads them to the nurse's ex-boyfriend, who has an alibi that proves his innocence. At this point, Chloe starts to suspect that there might be something supernatural going on, and she convinces Lucifer to help her out.

Meanwhile, Lucifer is grappling with his own personal problems. He's struggling to come to terms with the fact that his mother has escaped from Hell and is now walking around Earth in a human body. He's also dealing with the growing hostility between him and Amenadiel, who's still angry with him for causing the death of their brother, Uriel.

As the investigation unfolds, Chloe comes to the realization that the perpetrator may not be a human at all. In fact, she suspects that it might be a demon, which only reinforces Lucifer's belief that his mother is somehow involved.

As they delve deeper into the case, they come across a suspect who seems too good to be true. They realize that this person is not who they claim to be and may very well be the monster they're looking for.

In the end, they manage to identify the monster and bring it to justice. However, the repercussions of this incident are felt throughout the rest of the season, especially when it comes to Lucifer's relationship with his mother and his own identity as the devil.
