The second episode of Love Island season 7 picks up where the first left off, with the contestants settling into their new villa and getting to know one another. The morning after the first coupling ceremony, tensions are high as the couples try to navigate their new relationships.
Aaron and Sharon, who coupled up in the first episode, seem to be getting on well, but there are already cracks in their relationship. Aaron is feeling unsure about whether he's really attracted to Sharon, and Sharon is picking up on his hesitation. Meanwhile, another couple, Jake and Liberty, are also hitting a rough patch. Jake is starting to feel smothered by Liberty's constant attention, and he's not sure if he sees a long-term future with her.
The other couples are faring a bit better. Hugo and Chloe seem to be hitting it off, and Faye and Brad are also getting along. However, there are already some potential love triangles brewing. Chloe has expressed interest in Toby, who is currently coupled up with Kaz, and Georgia seems to have her eye on Hugo, despite his burgeoning connection with Chloe.
As the day goes on, the Islanders receive a text announcing a challenge: they will compete in a game of "Spill the Tea" where they have to answer juicy questions about each other. The challenge leads to some interesting revelations - for example, Chloe admits that she definitely thinks Toby is attractive, while Brad reveals that he's not completely over his ex. However, the real drama happens when the Islanders are asked to vote for the couple that they think is the least compatible.
After some debate, the Islanders choose Jake and Liberty as the least compatible couple, which means they are at risk of being kicked off the show. Jake and Liberty are devastated, and they both start worrying about their future in the villa. However, before they have a chance to dwell on their predicament, they receive another text revealing that the show will be adding three new contestants the following day.
The episode ends with the Islanders speculating about who the new arrivals might be and how they might shake things up in the villa. As always, the coming episodes promise lots of drama, romance, and unexpected twists as the contestants try to find love (and avoid getting kicked off the show).
