The highly anticipated season 5 of the popular reality TV show Love Island keeps heating things up in episode 22, as the couples face more challenges and the drama continues to unfold. In this season, singles come from all parts of the UK to a luxurious villa in Mallorca, Spain, in hopes of finding love and winning a cash prize of £50,000.

Episode 22 starts off with the aftermath of the explosive recoupling that took place in the previous episode. The public voted for their favorite couples, putting Camilla and Jamie, Amber and Ovie, and Maura and Curtis in a safe position. However, things didn't end well for Anton, who was left without a partner after Belle re-coupled with someone else. The Scottish hunk has to pick between two potential love interests: Jourdan, who he had a connection with before his original partner, and Lavena, a new bombshell who's been showing interest in him.

As Anton weighs his options, the girls receive a text announcing that they will be competing in another challenge called "Snog, Marry, Pie." In this game, each girl picks a guy to snog, another to marry, and the last one to pie in the face. The results lead to some awkward situations, especially for the guys who get pied, but also for the girls who find out who they're really into. Molly-Mae, for example, picks Tommy to marry, Curtis to snog, and Anton to pie, which leaves the latter feeling quite upset.

Meanwhile, Ovie and India continue to grow closer, much to the delight of viewers who have been shipping them for a while. The couple shares a romantic moment in the hot tub, where they talk about their feelings and enjoy each other's company. Ovie reveals that he's falling for India, and the model reciprocates, saying that he's the best thing that's happened to her in the villa. It's clear that they're on the same page and that their love story is one of the strongest in the villa.

Back to Anton, he finally makes his decision and chooses to couple up with Lavena, much to Jourdan's disappointment. The other couples also face some challenges in their relationships as they play a game called "Excess Baggage" where they share their insecurities and emotional baggage with their partners. Curtis opens up about his fear of getting hurt, while Camilla talks about her struggles with self-esteem. Ovie and India share their worries about starting a long-distance relationship, and Amber and Greg talk about their differences in communication styles.

As the day comes to an end, the Islanders settle into their couples, some stronger than others. Maura and Curtis discuss their future plans, AmbeGregt talk about their plans to explore each other's cities together and Tommy and Molly-Mae share yet another steamy kiss. However, things are far from calm in the villa, as a new twist is set to shake things up. The Islanders receive a text saying that two new bombshells are about to enter the villa, and they have to choose which two couples to send on dates with them. The decision leads to arguments and tension among the group, as they have to decide which partnerships are the weakest and most replaceable.

Overall, episode 22 of Love Island season 5 delivers yet another exciting installment of the series, packed with drama, romance, and plenty of twists and turns. With the addition of two new bombshells and the departure of Anton and Belle, it's clear that the game is far from over and that the Islanders will continue to be tested in their quest for love and money. Fans of the show are sure to tune in every night to see what happens next, as the drama just keeps getting better.
