As the sunny days in the villa start dwindling down, the temperature keeps getting hotter as the Islanders explore new romantic territory in episode 13 of Love Island season 5.
The episode starts off with Anton feeling overwhelmed by his feelings for Belle and decides to gather the boys for some advice. The lads suggest he should not hold back and go for it. However, the excitement in the villa is short-lived as news reaches the Islanders that there will be another dumping. The Islanders immediately feel anxious with the knowledge that some of them may be saying their goodbyes to their newfound friendships and potential love interests.
The girls and the boys have a heart-to-heart conversation before the big dumping that rocks the villa. Curtis and Amy share an emotional moment on the day beds where Curtis tells Amy that he loves her and has never felt like that for anyone before. The pair then shares a kiss to seal the deal. Tommy and Molly-Mae also have a conversation about their future and both agree that they want to take things slow outside the villa. Meanwhile, Jordan tells Anna that he isn't sure if he has romantic feelings for her yet, and he wants to explore other possibilities in the villa.
As the Islanders gather together for the dumping, they are all feeling the heat as they don't want to see anyone they like leave. An emotional goodbye is exchanged between the Islanders and Arabella, who confesses that she's leaving the villa with her head held high and with no regrets. The Islanders then sit down to enjoy their final dinner together with Arabella before she leaves the villa for good. However, Maura can't help but feel happy that she gets to stay a little longer in the villa.
As the night progresses, Danny pulls Yewande aside for a chat and tells her that he still has feelings for her. Yewande also confesses that she still has feelings for Danny, and she wants to explore that route as well. She later talks to Arabella before her departure, who advises her to keep fighting for the man she likes.
The next day, Amber and Joanna have a heated conversation, which escalates into an argument. Amber accuses Joanna of being too intense and that she's trying to make her feel bad for being single. Joanna retorts by saying that she's just trying to speak to her and that she's not being offensive.
At this point, Anna is also feeling a bit lost as she's not sure about Jordyn's feelings towards her. She confides in Jordan, who suggests that they cool things off and see what happens. They mutually agree that they will still be friends regardless.
In the last segment of the episode, the Islanders get to display their culinary skills and cook dinner for their fellow housemates. Curtis and Tommy go all out to impress the girls, while the other Islanders take a more laidback approach. The dinner is made complete with some soulful singing by Anton, which makes the evening a perfect end to another exciting day in the villa.
As the episode draws to a close, the viewers are left wondering what will happen to the Islanders, and which couple will become the next Love Island power couple.
