Ep 9. Face the Music

As Ray J's album release party approaches, the drama continues to unfold among the cast members of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in season 1 episode 9, "Face the Music."

Ray J is feeling pressure as his event draws near, but his main concern is making sure his on-and-off-again girlfriend Princess Love can attend without any issues. After she caused a scene at his last event, he's worried about her causing a scene again. Meanwhile, Fizz struggles with his own issues with his longtime girlfriend, Moniece. Their relationship has been rocky and Fizz is unsure if he wants to continue on with her.

Teairra Mari, who has been struggling to overcome her alcohol addiction, is trying to get her music career back on track. She meets with Berg, a music producer, who offers to help her get back into the studio, but not before taking a jab at her past struggles. Later, Teairra goes off on a rant on social media, calling out Berg and other industry professionals for not taking her seriously as an artist.

Elsewhere, Hazel-E is still on the outs with Masika after their explosive argument at Nikki's event. She tries to make amends by inviting Masika to a jewelry launch, but Masika declines the invitation. Hazel-E is left feeling hurt and frustrated that she can't seem to get through to her former friend.

Additionally, Nia and Soulja Boy's relationship seems to be progressing, but Nia's ex-boyfriend, Nas, is causing drama by constantly reaching out to her and trying to win her back.

As Ray J's album launch party commences, tensions rise between many of the cast members. Princess Love shows up at the event, but it's clear that there is still tension between her and Ray J. Teairra Mari also attends and takes the stage to perform, but she encounters a few issues with the sound system.

As the party continues, the drama reaches its peak when Masika arrives and confronts Hazel-E over her previous comments about her. The argument quickly gets heated and security has to intervene to break up the altercation.

The episode concludes with a cliffhanger as Nia receives a shocking phone call that could change the course of her relationship with Soulja Boy.
