Ep 21. The Ducksters

In Looney Tunes season 1950 episode 21 titled "The Ducksters," Daffy Duck takes on the persona of a radio quiz show contestant in order to win a large cash prize. In the final round, Daffy and Porky are tied with nine correct answers each. The last question is a doozy: "What is the capital of North Dakota?" Porky buzzes in before Daffy, but his answer of "Bismarck" is incorrect. Daffy seizes his opportunity and confidently answers "Pismo Beach" (which is not even a capital city), convinced that he has won the grand prize.

However, Reginald informs Daffy that he is incorrect and that the correct answer is "Bismarck." Daffy is devastated and immediately starts to protest, insisting that he knew the answer all along. Reginald, however, is unmoved and declares Porky the winner.

As Daffy sulks off the stage, Porky receives his grand prize in the form of a giant check for $10,000. Porky graciously shares his prize with Daffy, offering him a piece of the giant check as a souvenir. However, Daffy is still bitter about his loss and snubs Porky's offer.
