The storyline of this episode follows Bugs Bunny, who appears to be working as a construction worker, where he breaks a water pipe while digging. This mistake creates an opportunity for him to explore an underground tunnel that reveals an old castle. The castle's walls are covered with vines and cobwebs, and it appears as if nobody has been living there for years.
As Bugs sneaks into the castle, he comes to know the living inhabitants of the structure. To his surprise, the place is full of skeletons that appear to be in perfect condition. Bugs introduces himself and suggests restoring the castle to its past glory, much to the Countess's delight.
The countess is a historical figure, and the castle has its own history as well. Bugs learns that the castle was once the place for the gathering of the most expensive jewels in the world. But the jewels had vanished without any trace of the robbers.
Bugs tells her that he'll come back with his crew and restores the castle, but he needs something in return. The countess offers Bugs a mysterious pendant. She tells him that it holds the only clue about the hidden jewels' location. She wants Bugs to find the necklace first before starting the renovation work. Bugs agrees, and the hunt for the necklace begins.
The search for the pendant takes Bugs all around the castle, and as he looks for it, he discovers hidden doors and secret passages. Bugs navigates through each of these to search for the pendant. However, he leaves the countess in a room to protect her and the place from harm.
Bugs is successful in finding the pendant, but he finds that there is someone else who is after it as well. The mysterious thieves who stole the jewels come out of nowhere and take the pendant from Bugs, and run away. Bugs is not one to be defeated easily, and he chases them down and recovers the pendant after a fun-filled chase sequence.
He heads straight back to the castle, where he finds the countess tied up and the thieves looting the place. Bugs quickly comes up with a plan to stop the thieves and save the castle, and with his quick thinking, he immobilizes the villains and saves the treasures. Everyone cheers Bugs on, and the countess thanks him for his help.
The countess allows Bugs to keep the mysterious pendant as a reward for his bravery, and Bugs decides to use it to fund the renovation for the castle. The episode ends with Bugs bidding adieu to the castle and leaving it spotless and beautiful.
