Ep 9. Bracing For Impact

In season 9, episode 9 of Lone Star Law titled "Bracing For Impact," the Texas Game Wardens are put to the test as they respond to a variety of calls that require their quick thinking and expertise.

The episode begins with Game Wardens investigating a possible drowning in the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. They work tirelessly to search the area with the help of local authorities to locate the victim. Next, the Game Wardens receive a call about an injured hiker on Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. The hiker sustained a serious injury and needs immediate medical attention, but the terrain is rocky and treacherous, making it difficult for rescue crews to get to him. The Game Wardens join forces with the local fire department and EMS to plan and execute a safe rescue that saves the hiker's life.

As the day progresses, the Game Wardens receive another call about a possible drunken boater on Lake Conroe. After locating the boat, they administer sobriety tests and discover that the operator is indeed intoxicated. The Game Wardens make an arrest for boating while intoxicated and take the operator into custody.

But the day is far from over for the Texas Game Wardens. They are called to a cattle rustling case in Medina County, where a rancher has reported that his cows have been stolen. The Game Wardens conduct an intensive investigation and search the surrounding area for any evidence of the rustling. After discovering some crucial evidence, they make an arrest in the case and are able to return the stolen cattle to their rightful owner.

Finally, the Game Wardens receive a call about a dog that has been left alone in a hot car. They race to the scene to rescue the dog before it is too late. The Game Wardens work quickly to break the window of the car and free the dog, who is visibly distressed from heat exhaustion. The Game Wardens administer emergency care to the dog on-site and transport him to a local animal hospital for further treatment.

Throughout the episode, viewers get an inside look at the daily operations of the Texas Game Wardens and see the challenges they face in protecting and serving the people and wildlife of Texas. With each call, the Game Wardens must use their skills and expertise to make quick decisions that have the potential to save lives and make a difference in their community.
