In the Lone Star Law season 5 episode 6 entitled Wildcat Garage, viewers are taken on an exciting journey with the Texas game wardens as they tackle various cases while patrolling the Lone Star State's waterways, fields, and rugged terrain.
The episode opens with Game Warden Benny Richards conducting a boat safety inspection. Though the boaters appeared to be following regulations, Benny discovers a juvenile redfish hidden among their catch. Despite the boaters' protestations, he cites them for the infraction and confiscates the fish.
Meanwhile, Game Warden Jennifer Provazek is dispatched to investigate an alligator attack on a local fisherman. Yet upon reaching the scene, Jennifer discovers no evidence that an alligator was involved. Upon interviewing witnesses, she learns that two men were arguing over a fish when one of them hit the other in the face and ran away. With the help of her fellow game wardens, Jennifer apprehends the suspect and takes him to jail.
Back on the water, Game Warden Aaron Sims is patrolling the Rio Grande. He stops a group of kayakers who are fishing nearby, and they are initially hesitant to cooperate. However, Aaron convinces them to comply with a quick inspection and finds that they are in full compliance.
Elsewhere, Texas Game Warden Rachel Kellner is hot on the trail of a poacher who is killing deer and leaving them in a field to rot. After an intensive investigation, Rachel and her colleagues identify the perpetrator and make a successful apprehension.
Finally, game wardens Benny Richards and Morgan Inman are on the lookout for poachers in the South Texas brush country. They encounter a suspicious vehicle and give chase, leading to a tense high-speed pursuit along the dirt roads of the area. Ultimately, they are successful in apprehending the suspects, who are found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and a freshly-caught white-tailed deer.
Throughout Wildcat Garage and the rest of Lone Star Law season 5 is an intense exploration of the unique challenges facing Texas game wardens. From enforcing fishing regulations to tracking down poachers, the wardens of Lone Star Law work tirelessly to protect Texas's natural resources.
