Ep 2. The Puppet Master
- December 13, 2018
In the second episode of LOL: Last One Laughing Mexico, titled "The Puppet Master," the 10 comedians are back in the same room and ready to make each other crack up once again. However, this time, they are not alone.
Introducing the special guest for the episode, Mexican ventriloquist and comedian, Ricardo O'Farrill. He brings with him six of his quirky puppets, each with its own unique personality, voice, and style of comedy.
From the moment Ricardo and his puppets enter the room, hilarity ensues. The comedians try their best to keep a straight face while the puppets perform their skits and jokes, but it proves to be a daunting task.
As the night progresses, tensions rise, and the comedians become more competitive. They are all determined not to be the first one to laugh and risk being eliminated from the game. In an attempt to distract each other, they start using Ricardo's puppets against each other, making them say outrageous things and mocking their fellow contestants.
Despite the chaos, Ricardo manages to keep the show running smoothly. He interacts with the comedians, using his puppets as a conduit to provoke them and add some spice to the game.
In one particularly memorable moment, Ricardo's puppet "La Gordura" steals the show with her high energy and mischievous behavior. She even manages to get one of the comedians, who had been holding out until that moment, to laugh out loud.
Another highlight of the episode is the comedic chemistry between Ricardo and the comedians. They bounce jokes off each other, create impromptu skits, and banter back and forth, all in the name of entertainment. It's clear that Ricardo is an experienced performer who knows how to work with a variety of personalities, and the comedians respect and admire him for it.
As the night wears on, the comedians become more and more desperate not to laugh. Some resort to using physical humor, while others try to distract themselves by doing anything they can think of, from reciting the alphabet backward to holding their breath.
In the end, only one comedian emerges as the winner of the episode, having managed to keep a straight face throughout the entire ordeal. The rest are left to rue their missed opportunities and wonder how they can do better in the next round.
Overall, "The Puppet Master" is an entertaining episode that showcases the talents of both the comedians and Ricardo's puppets. It's fun, fast-paced, and full of surprises, making it a must-watch for fans of comedy and game shows alike.
