Max is all about disciplining the kids and making sure they follow the rules, while Regine is more concerned with making sure the kids have fun and are always comfortable. Synclaire is the mediator, trying to keep the peace between everyone.
Despite the various mishaps, including a broken vase and a spilled milk incident, the girls all manage to bond with the kids and create some special memories. They take the kids on a trip to the park, where they play games and have a picnic. Khadijah even teaches Jordan how to ride a bike.
As the day comes to a close, the girls realize that they have all learned something important about themselves and about parenting. Max realizes that she needs to lighten up and have some fun once in a while, while Regine realizes that sometimes it's important to set boundaries with children. Synclaire learns that being a parent is really hard work, but also incredibly rewarding.
