The episode opens with Blythe and her father, Roger, making pancakes for breakfast. However, Blythe is not satisfied with the taste and decides to experiment with the batter to make it more appealing. She goes to the Littlest Pet Shop with the batter, hoping to get some feedback from her animal friends.
While Blythe is at the pet shop, she bumps into Fisher Biskit, the son of the owner of Biskit's Department Store. Fisher invites Blythe to a charity bake-off contest, which will take place at the department store. Blythe accepts the invitation and decides to use the contest as a way to test her pancake batter.
Blythe enlists the help of her pet friends to prepare for the contest. However, the competition proves to be tougher than expected, with many skilled bakers competing for the top prize. Blythe's batter receives mixed reviews from the judges, leaving her feeling discouraged.
Meanwhile, Fisher's sister, Whittany, tries to sabotage the other contestants by stealing their recipes. She also tries to frame Blythe for cheating by planting a stolen recipe in her bag. However, Blythe and her friends discover the plan and stop Whittany from ruining the competition.
In the end, Blythe's pancake batter wins the "most original" award, but the overall winner is a baker named Maurice. Despite not winning the top prize, Blythe is proud of her creation and happy with the recognition she received.
The episode ends with Blythe and her pet friends enjoying a batch of her special pancakes at the Littlest Pet Shop.
