Ep 2. Mama Drama

Mama Drama, the second episode of the second season of Little Women: LA, revolves around the ongoing feud between the women and their mothers. The opening scene sees Tonya’s mother, Sue, visiting her home to help with the newborn baby. Tonya, who is still recovering from her emergency C-section, is finding it difficult to balance the needs of her baby and work. Meanwhile, Christy is having a tough time adjusting to her new life as a mother. Her husband Todd is away on business, and she is left to take care of their daughter, Autumn, by herself. She reaches out to the other ladies for support, and they all offer to help her out. However, when the ladies gather for a playdate, Christy is hesitant to leave Autumn with the others as she has a hard time trusting people.

Elena deals with her own drama with her mother. Tammy complains about Elena’s husband, Preston, and how he doesn’t respect her. She also discusses her distaste for Elena’s baby’s name. This frustrates Elena, and she confronts her mother about her behavior.

As the episode comes to a close, Terra finally confronts her mother about her drinking and attendance at her events. She expresses her concerns and touches on how her mother’s actions are affecting her. Chris is defensive at first but eventually apologizes. The episode ends with Terra and Chris hugging it out, and Terra reflecting on how confronting her mother has helped their relationship.
