Ep 21. The Windy Day

Australia's little hero Lunch series is a favorite children's comedy show full of energetic and imaginative young kids. In the episode titled "The Windy Day," the twenty-first episode of the show's first season, students from Grade 5C are back in the playground, and it is not going to be an ordinary lunchtime. By midday, the students start experiencing strong wind gusts that seem to be blowing everything away. The children are amazed by the unusual weather and decide to go with the flow.

With their creative and imaginative minds in full gear, the students quickly invent games and activities that accommodate the wind. Headed by Rory (Flynn Curry), a young dirt bike rider, they decide to have a paper plane competition, thinking that the wind could help them build some truly outstanding flying machines. Rory has a reputation for being the best dirt bike racer and the highest scorer at paper plane competitions, but he faces tough new competition from everyone who wants to take home the coveted honor of being named the Paper Plane Champion.

Meanwhile, Tamara (Madison Lu) and Battie (Olivia Deeble) have a brilliant idea to use the wind for something incredible, even though they don't know where it came from. They decide to create a wind-powered machine using items they find, including an umbrella, a kite, and some plastic bags. However, creating the machine is not easy, and they have to think outside the box and do it together to make it work.

As the students play and create in the wind, they begin to realize that not everything is perfect on a windy day. Dealing with wind gusts and unexpected twirls and turns becomes a challenge when it comes to eating lunch. Imani (Madison Lu) has a dilemma, as her apple keeps slipping away, landing in different lunchboxes throughout the playground. Will she ever be able to retrieve her cherished fruit?

Meanwhile, Melanie (Oisín O'Leary), the little girl with colorful hair, is trying to cover up hair that is getting all over the place in the wind. Her ingenious solution is entirely unexpected, and the other students have no idea what she is up to.

In another surprising development, Debra-Jo (Faith Seci) leaves the school during lunchtime to take care of some important business. It seems that Debra-Jo has made some poor choices, and it's up to the other students to act quickly to help her out.

The Windy Day is an episode that will engage children's imaginations and teach them the value of cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving. It highlights the importance of teamwork and thinking outside the box to come up with solutions to challenges that arise unexpectedly.
